Here are a couple of my initial Wisdom Project Statements of purpose:

What is the purpose of the Wisdom Project?

Our world is full of problems and life is a unceasing journey from problem to problem. Life is hard for each of us individually and even more so as we make collective decisions.

Solving problems is an art form. To me it is one of the most important and valuable skills…perhaps the single most valuable potential humans possess next to consciousness itself.

We have many problems we need to solve. We need to put our minds together in order to listen and learn from each other so we can figure out:

1) what are the most important problems?
and
2) what is the best solution to these problems?

The answer to both of these questions…is summed up with one word: wisdom.

So that is what the wisdom forum is designed for: fostering wisdom.

What are the most important problems? I will try to answer this…I hope you will too. Perhaps we can learn from each other. And if we can come to a convergence upon a single vision of what is wrong….perhaps then we can work on question 2. What is the best solution to our most important problems?

I wanted to add this as a simple way of describing the mission of this Wisdom Project.

This site is meant to be a machine, a machine designed to extract every sweet savory nector of wisdom from people it can...and then to spread that nutritious product around.
