The Beginning
This was the opening page of the Wisdom Project on April 27, 2003
The Wisdom Forum
If words conveyed wisdom,
The world would be a perfect place.
There are no short cuts.
Wisdom is not found through reading,
nor through following,
nor through merely observing.
There is only one way to wisdom
and that is through hard work.
If you are unwilling to work
You have no cause to complain.
Life is a labor of love.
Good Luck :)

The words above sum up my philosophy towards wisdom. It is not easy to learn. There are no shortcuts. Wisdom like all learning requires hard work. But wisdom is the hardest type of knowledge to attain, because it also demands profound judgment.
In a classroom the subject is usually defined. You are learning about physics, or Russian history, or economics. But once your subject is defined, the rest is easy. You study, you learn, you theorize… The hard part is what subject should you study? Are all subjects of equal importance? What question do you want to study and try to answer? What problems do you want to try and solve? Those are the primary questions of Wisdom. It is just as important and just as difficult to figure out what the question is..as it is to find the answer.
